Possible Causes

Blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Open lamp switch or relay, Burnt wiring to lamp assembly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off power before changing the lamp or touching the lamp cover.

  • Replace lamp: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven lamp specified by Proline (same wattage and base type).
  • Inspect lamp holder: Check for heat damage or corrosion on the lamp holder contacts. Replace the holder if contacts are loose or burnt.
  • Check wiring: From the rear, inspect the lamp wiring for breaks or burns. Repair or replace as needed.
  • Control relay: If the lamp and wiring are good but still no light and F18 persists, the lamp relay on the control PCB may be faulty. Replace the PCB if necessary.
