Possible Causes
Failed memory chip on control PCB, Faulty backup capacitor or battery (if fitted), Power supply instability to control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing electronics.
- Check mains supply: Ensure the oven is on a stable circuit and not sharing with heavy loads that cause voltage drops.
- Inspect control PCB: Look for leaking backup capacitors or damaged components near the memory IC.
- Board replacement: In most domestic ovens, the memory is integrated into the main control PCB. Replace the PCB with the correct Proline part if F19 persists and settings are not retained.
