Invalid configuration data in control PCB, Incorrect replacement PCB not programmed for model, Corrupted EEPROM settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing panels.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for at least 5 minutes to allow the control to fully reset. Restore power and attempt to set the clock and a basic cooking mode.
- Check model configuration: If a control board was recently replaced, verify that the correct Proline part number was installed and that any required configuration procedure (jumper settings or programming) was completed according to the service manual.
- Service mode (if available): Some models allow a configuration reset via a key sequence. Refer to Proline technical documentation.
- Replace PCB: If configuration cannot be corrected and F20 persists, replace the main control PCB with the correct, pre-configured part.
