How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool completely.
- 1. Inspect seal: Look for splits, missing sections, or hardened areas in the gasket.
- 2. Remove old seal: Most Rangemaster door seals are push-in types. Gently pull the seal out of the retaining holes or channel.
- 3. Clean channel: Remove any debris or burnt-on residue from the groove.
- 4. Fit new seal: Press the new Rangemaster-specific seal into place, ensuring the corners are fully seated and the join (if any) is at the bottom centre.
- 5. Check closure: Close the door and verify that the seal contacts evenly all around.
