RCA oven shows F91 when attempting self-clean; door does not lock.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the latch engages the strike. Adjust hinges or strike if needed.
• Access lock motor: Remove the top or rear panel to reach the lock motor assembly.
• Test motor coil: Measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open reading indicates a failed motor; replace the assembly.
• Inspect linkage: Verify that the linkage between the motor and latch is intact and not bent or disconnected.
• Check wiring: Test continuity from the control board lock output to the motor. Repair any open wires.
• Replace assembly: Install a new door lock motor and latch assembly if defective. If wiring and lock are good, the electronic oven control board may not be driving the motor.
