RCA oven displays F92; door will not unlock after self-clean cycle completes.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Allow the oven to cool completely before attempting to force the door.

• Wait for cooling: Some models keep the door locked until the cavity is below a safe temperature. Confirm that the oven is fully cool.
• Manual release: Check your RCA manual for a manual door lock release. This may be accessible through the top panel or by removing the back panel and moving the latch by hand.
• Inspect latch and gasket: Look for warped metal or a displaced door gasket that may be jamming the latch. Correct any mechanical interference.
• Test lock assembly: With access to the lock motor, test the motor and unlock switch with a multimeter. Replace the assembly if the motor will not run or the switch does not change state.
• Replace parts: Install a new door lock motor and latch assembly if defective. If the lock assembly is good, the electronic oven control board may be failing to send the unlock command.
