• Inspect elements: Look inside the cavity at the top and bottom elements for visible breaks or burn marks.
• Access rear connections: Remove the rear panel to inspect the element terminals. Tighten any loose spade connectors and look for burnt wires.
• Test continuity: With wires removed from the element, measure resistance across the terminals. Replace the element if open-circuit.
• Check thermal cut-out: Locate the thermal cut-out thermostat and test for continuity. If open and not resettable, replace it.
