Possible Causes

Partially failed oven element (high resistance), Faulty temperature sensor (NTC) reading too high, Miscalibrated thermostat or control PCB, Door seal leaking heat

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.

  • Check door seal: Inspect the rubber gasket around the door for gaps, tears, or flattening. Replace if damaged.
  • Test with oven thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the centre of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the set temperature over 20–30 minutes.
  • Inspect elements: Ensure all elements (top, bottom, fan) glow or heat evenly during operation. Replace any that remain cool or heat only in sections.
  • Check sensor: Test the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and compare with specifications. Replace if out of range.
  • Control calibration: Some models allow minor temperature calibration via the control panel; refer to the user manual. If large discrepancies remain, the control PCB may need replacement.
