How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the control panel.
- Attempt reset: With power connected, press and hold the clock or reset buttons as described in the user manual to reset the timer. If the display remains frozen, proceed to hardware checks.
- Inspect control panel: Remove the front panel and check the clock/timer section of the control board for visible damage.
- Check buttons/encoder: Test the clock-setting buttons or rotary encoder with a multimeter for proper contact. Replace the button board or encoder if defective.
- Replace control board: If the clock IC or EEPROM is suspected and individual components are not serviceable, replace the entire electronic control board.
- Reprogram time: After replacement, restore power and set the correct time. Verify that cooking functions can now be started.
