Possible Causes
Failed door seal allowing steam to escape upwards, Blocked ventilation channels, Damaged control panel gasket, Excessive condensation from cooking
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool and dry before opening the control panel.
- Inspect door seal: Check the rubber gasket around the oven door for gaps, tears, or flattening. Replace if it does not seal evenly all around.
- Check ventilation: Ensure that the top and front vents are not blocked by cabinetry or debris. Clean any grease or dust buildup.
- Control panel gasket: Remove the control panel and inspect any foam or rubber seals between the panel and oven body. Replace deteriorated gaskets to prevent steam ingress.
- Dry components: If moisture is present on the control board, gently dry with a hair dryer on low heat at a safe distance, or allow to air dry for 24 hours. Do not overheat electronic components.
- Test operation: Reassemble, restore power, and run the oven at a moderate temperature to confirm that no further moisture reaches the panel.
