Oven beeps and shows an error shortly after start, often related to sensor wiring

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the rear or top of the oven.

• Inspect sensor wiring: Trace the cable from the NTC sensor in the cavity to the control board. Look for cuts, burns, or pinched sections.
• Check connectors: Reseat the sensor connector on the control board. Clean any oxidized pins.
• Continuity test: Disconnect both ends of the sensor cable and test continuity of each conductor. Repair or replace the harness if open or shorted.
• Replace sensor if needed: If the wiring is good but the error persists, replace the temperature sensor with a Sauter-compatible part.
• Reassemble and test: Restore power and run the oven at a low temperature to confirm the error is cleared.
