Safety first: Work only when the oven is cool.

• Inspect gasket: Run your fingers around the entire door seal to feel for gaps, tears, or flattened sections.
• Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the gasket and the mating surface on the oven frame with warm soapy water to remove grease and debris.
• Refit gasket: If the gasket has come out of its clips, press it back firmly into the retaining channel all around.
• Replace gasket: If the seal is brittle, cracked, or permanently compressed, remove it completely and install a new Sauter-specific door gasket, ensuring the corners are seated correctly.
