Oven door does not close fully, heat escapes, front of oven gets very hot

• Tighten screws: Tighten the hinge mounting screws on both the door and oven body.
• Adjust or replace hinges: If the door still does not close flush, replace both hinges with Sauter-compatible parts. Some models allow minor adjustment via eccentric screws.
• Check door frame: Verify that the oven is level and not twisted in the cabinet, which can affect door alignment. Adjust leveling feet and mounting screws as needed.
