Oven emits a metallic or electrical burning smell when first used after installation or long disuse

Safety first: Ensure good ventilation by opening windows. Keep children and pets away from the area.

• Empty burn-in: Remove all packaging, labels, and accessories. Run the oven empty at 200–220°C for 45–60 minutes.
• Ventilate: Allow fumes to escape; do not block vents.
• Clean after cool-down: Once cool, wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residues.
• Monitor: If the smell persists strongly after several uses, inspect for burnt wiring or components and contact a technician.
