• Access fan: Remove the rear interior panel of the oven cavity to expose the convection fan and element.
• Check for obstructions: Ensure no screws, foil, or debris are jammed in the fan blades.
• Spin test: Manually spin the fan. If stiff or noisy, the motor bearings may be failing; replace the motor.
• Electrical test: Measure motor resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• Control output: If the motor is good, check whether the control board supplies voltage to the fan in convection mode. If not, the relay or board is faulty and should be replaced.
