Possible Causes
Shorted membrane keypad, damaged touch control glass, moisture ingress on control panel connector, failed electronic control board (EOC)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels. High voltage is present even when the oven is off.
- Power reset: Turn the oven off at the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If F0 clears temporarily but returns when pressing certain keys, the keypad is likely shorted.
- Check for moisture/grease: Inspect the front control panel area for signs of liquid spills or steam damage. If recently cleaned with liquid, allow it to dry fully (several hours) with the door open and room ventilated.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel trim (after power is off). Locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board. Reseat it carefully and ensure no corrosion or burnt spots.
- Isolate keypad vs board: If possible, disconnect the keypad ribbon from the control board, restore power, and see if F0 persists. If F0 disappears with keypad unplugged, the keypad/touch panel is defective. If F0 remains, the control board is likely faulty.
- Replace faulty part: Replace the membrane keypad or full touch control assembly if shorted. If the keypad tests good, replace the electronic control board (EOC).
