Possible Causes
Failed display PCB, blown low-voltage fuse on control board, faulty transformer or power supply to display, loose display connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the control panel.
- Check for life: Listen for relays clicking or fans running when turning knobs. If heating works but display is dark, focus on the display circuit.
- Inspect connectors: Remove the control panel and reseat the display ribbon cable and connectors.
- Check low-voltage supply: A technician can measure the low-voltage outputs (e.g., 5V, 12V) on the control board. If missing, the power supply section has failed.
- Replace display board: If power is present but the display remains blank or very dim, replace the display PCB.
