Possible Causes

Tripped thermal fuse, open main power relay on control board, loose connection at terminal block, both bake and grill elements open

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the breaker and verify with a tester before touching wiring.

  • Check breakers: Ensure the oven's circuit breaker(s) are fully on. Some installations use two linked breakers; both must be on.
  • Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block. Look for burnt or loose wires. Tighten screws and replace damaged wires or block.
  • Test thermal fuse: Locate the main thermal fuse (often on the top or rear of the cavity). Test for continuity; replace if open.
  • Check elements: Test both bake and grill elements for continuity. If both are open, replace them. If elements and fuse are good, suspect the main relay or control board.
  • Control board: If no voltage is sent to any element during a heat command, the EOC or power relay board likely needs replacement.
