Oven light does not work, but oven heats normally.

Safety: Disconnect power before replacing the bulb. Glass may be fragile and hot.

• Replace bulb: Remove the lamp cover inside the oven (usually with a quarter-turn or small screws). Replace the bulb with the exact type and wattage specified by Sharp (often a high-temperature halogen or incandescent).
• Check lamp holder: Inspect the socket for burning or corrosion. Replace the lamp holder if damaged.
• Test switch/relay: If a new bulb does not light, check the door switch (if used to control the light) and the control board lamp relay. Replace the faulty component.
