Possible Causes
Shorted heating element to chassis, damaged wiring insulation, shorted power filter capacitor, faulty terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. Disconnect power and investigate the cause. High risk of fire or electric shock.
- Visual inspection: Remove rear and top panels to inspect wiring for melted insulation or wires touching the metal chassis.
- Check elements: Disconnect each heating element and test for continuity to ground (chassis). Any element that shows low resistance to ground is shorted and must be replaced.
- Inspect terminal block: Look for burnt or shorted connections where the mains cable enters the oven. Replace the block if damaged.
- Filter and power board: If no obvious shorts are found, the line filter or power board may be shorted. These should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
