Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between touch control and main PCB, Failed touch control module, Corroded connector on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate the oven from mains before removing the control panel.
- Power cycle: Turn off power for 10 minutes to clear any temporary communication error. If E006 persists, proceed.
- Remove control panel: Open the oven door, remove the screws securing the fascia, and gently pull the control panel forward.
- Check ribbon cables: Locate the flat ribbon cable(s) between the display/touch board and the main control module. Reseat them carefully, ensuring they are fully inserted and not kinked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for signs of moisture ingress, corrosion, or burnt components on the user interface board.
- Test operation: Reassemble temporarily, restore power, and test. If E006 remains, the user interface or main board may need replacement.
