Possible Causes
Faulty high-temperature sensor used for pyrolysis, Damaged wiring to pyrolytic sensor, Incorrect sensor fitted after repair
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power. Pyrolytic cycles reach very high temperatures; do not attempt to bypass safety systems.
- Check normal heating: If standard cooking modes work but pyrolysis fails with E032, the dedicated pyrolytic sensor or its circuit is suspect.
- Locate sensor: Some Siemens pyrolytic ovens use a separate high-temperature sensor mounted on the cavity roof or rear.
- Test sensor: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare with Siemens specifications; an open or shorted sensor must be replaced.
- Inspect wiring: Check for heat-damaged insulation or loose connectors near the sensor and along the harness route.
- Replace with correct part: Use the exact Siemens pyrolytic sensor specified for your model; standard NTCs may not be suitable.
