Possible Causes
Drifting cavity temperature sensor, Weak or partially failed heating element, Poor door seal causing heat loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the oven to cool and disconnect power before removing panels.
- Verify with thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the set value over 20–30 minutes.
- Inspect door seal: Check the rubber gasket around the door for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if not sealing evenly.
- Check elements: Visually inspect all elements for hot spots or dark patches. Test resistance and replace any element significantly out of spec.
- Test sensor: Measure NTC resistance at room temperature and compare with Siemens data. Replace if readings are off or unstable.
