Possible Causes
Shorted NTC sensor, Stuck heating relay on control board, Miswired sensor after previous repair
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power immediately; overheating can be a fire risk.
- Do not use the oven: Until the cause is identified and repaired, avoid operating the oven.
- Test sensor: Remove and measure the NTC sensor resistance. A very low resistance at room temperature indicates a shorted sensor.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the sensor is connected to the correct terminals on the control board and that no wires are shorted.
- Check control board: If the sensor is correct, inspect the board for a stuck relay (contacts welded closed). Replace the board if necessary.
