Possible Causes
Incorrect line voltage (low or high), Loose power cord connections, Faulty terminal block, Defective main control power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker before inspecting the power connections. High voltage can cause severe injury.
- Step 1 – Verify supply voltage: Have a qualified person measure the voltage at the outlet or junction box. Signature Kitchen Suite ovens typically require 240 V AC (or 208 V in some installations). Voltage significantly outside this range can trigger F09.
- Step 2 – Inspect terminal block: With power off, remove the rear access cover to the terminal block where the power cord connects. Check for loose screws, burnt wires, or melted plastic. Tighten connections and replace any damaged parts.
- Step 3 – Check power cord: Inspect the range power cord for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. Replace if damaged.
- Step 4 – Control board power section: If supply voltage and connections are correct, the internal power supply on the main control board may be failing. Replace the control board if F09 persists.
Note: If you are not trained to work with 240 V circuits, contact a licensed electrician or appliance technician.
