Loose harness between display and main control, Corroded connectors, Failed display board, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing control components.
- Step 1 – Power cycle: Turn the breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then ON. If F12 reappears, proceed.
- Step 2 – Access control area: Remove the upper rear panel to expose the main control and display board.
- Step 3 – Reseat connectors: Carefully disconnect and reconnect all harnesses between the display and main control, one at a time, ensuring each locks in place.
- Step 4 – Inspect for damage: Look for burnt spots, corrosion, or cracked solder joints on both boards. Replace any visibly damaged board.
- Step 5 – Board replacement: If wiring is intact and F12 persists, replace the display board first. If the issue remains, replace the main control board.
Tip: Take photos of all wiring before disconnecting to ensure correct reassembly.
