How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal fans.
- Step 1 – Observe fan behavior: After using the oven, the cooling fan should run for a short time then shut off. If it never runs or runs constantly, F22 may appear.
- Step 2 – Access cooling fan: Remove the upper rear panel to locate the cooling fan assembly behind the control panel area.
- Step 3 – Inspect fan: Check for obstructions, dust buildup, or signs of overheating. Spin the fan blade by hand; it should move freely.
- Step 4 – Test motor: Disconnect the fan and measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Step 5 – Control relay: If the motor is good but never receives power, or receives constant power, the control board's fan relay may be stuck and the board will need replacement.
Warning: Do not operate the oven with a non-functioning cooling fan; this can overheat the electronics and cause further damage.
