Possible Causes
Burnt-out oven light bulb, Failed light relay on control board, Faulty light switch, Loose light socket wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.
- Step 1 – Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven bulb specified by Signature Kitchen Suite.
- Step 2 – Test light function: Restore power and press the light button. If the light still does not work and F23 appears, continue.
- Step 3 – Inspect socket: With power off, inspect the light socket for corrosion or burnt contacts. Replace the socket if damaged.
- Step 4 – Check wiring and switch: Access the rear of the light socket and the light switch or relay on the control board. Ensure all connectors are tight.
- Step 5 – Control board: If the bulb, socket, and wiring are good, the light relay on the control board may have failed and require board replacement.
Note: Never use standard household bulbs in the oven; they are not rated for high temperatures and can shatter.
