Step 1 – Isolate noise: Determine if the noise occurs only in convection mode, only during cool-down, or all the time. This helps identify which fan is involved.
Step 2 – Inspect convection fan: Remove the convection fan cover inside the oven and check that the fan blade is tight on the shaft. Tighten the mounting nut if loose.
Step 3 – Check for debris: Remove any loose screws, foil, or food debris that may be contacting the fan.
Step 4 – Cooling fan and panels: Remove the rear panel and check the cooling fan and surrounding panels for looseness. Tighten any loose screws.
Step 5 – Replace noisy motor: If the fan motor makes grinding or squealing noises when spun by hand, replace the motor.
