Possible Causes
Empty or incorrectly seated water tank, blocked steam nozzle, failed steam generator element, faulty water level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before working near the steam system.
- Check water tank: Ensure the water tank is filled to the correct level and properly inserted. Clean any scale or debris from the tank contacts and seating area.
- Clean steam outlets: Inspect the steam outlet or nozzle inside the cavity for blockages. Descale using manufacturer-approved descaling solution if necessary.
- Test steam generator: Access the steam generator (if separate) and test the heating element for continuity. Replace if open-circuit.
- Level sensor: Some models use float or electronic level sensors. Inspect and clean the sensor area. Replace the sensor if it does not detect water correctly.
- Control board: If all components are functional but Er19 persists, the control board's steam control circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
