Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool and power is off. Handle glass carefully to avoid injury.

Tighten fixings: Remove the door and lay it on a soft surface. Tighten any visible screws securing the inner and outer glass panels.
Clean and reseal: If condensation is present between panes, disassemble the door according to Smeg instructions, clean the glass thoroughly, and replace any foam or silicone seals as required.
Replace damaged glass: If any pane is cracked or chipped, replace it with the correct Smeg door glass panel. Do not use the oven with damaged glass.
Reassemble correctly: Ensure all spacers and brackets are reinstalled in the correct order to maintain airflow and insulation.
