Possible Causes
Burnt-out grill element, failed dual grill inner or outer element, faulty grill selector contacts, open grill wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and let the oven cool before touching the grill area.
- Visual check: Inspect the grill element(s) at the top of the cavity for cracks, blisters, or sagging. Replace any damaged element.
- Test both circuits: On dual grill models, test inner and outer elements separately with a multimeter. Replace the complete grill assembly if either circuit is open.
- Selector switch (knob models): Test the grill positions on the function selector for continuity. Replace the selector switch if grill contacts are faulty.
- Wiring inspection: Check the wiring from the control board or selector to the grill element for heat damage and repair as needed.
