Oven beeps continuously and displays F1; may occur at power‑up or randomly during use.

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels. Capacitors on the control board can hold a charge briefly after power is removed.

• Power reset: Turn the oven off at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power. If F1 returns immediately without pressing any keys, the control or keypad is likely faulty.
• Check for stuck keys: With power off, inspect the front control panel for any keys that feel stuck, sunken, or physically damaged. Gently work them free. If liquid was spilled, allow the panel to dry completely.
• Inspect keypad ribbon: Remove the control panel trim to access the keypad ribbon cable going into the electronic oven control (EOC). Reseat the ribbon: unplug, inspect for corrosion or burns, and plug back in firmly.
• Isolate keypad vs. control: On many Stoves models, you can disconnect the keypad ribbon from the EOC, restore power, and see if F1 reappears. If F1 returns with the keypad disconnected, the EOC is bad. If F1 disappears, the keypad/touch panel is bad.
• Replace faulty part: If the keypad is integrated with the front panel, replace the entire touch control panel. If separate, replace only the failed component (keypad or EOC) following the service manual and transferring wires one at a time.
