Open oven temperature sensor, Broken sensor harness, Loose connector at sensor or control board, Connector pin pulled out of housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Access sensor: Remove the oven's rear panel or pull the sensor from inside the cavity to access its connector.
- Test sensor continuity: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance. If the meter reads OL (open), replace the sensor.
- Check harness: If the sensor is good, test continuity of each wire from the sensor connector to the control board. Repair or replace any open wires.
- Secure connectors: Ensure all connectors are fully seated and that pins are not backing out of the plastic housings.
