Possible Causes
Open convection element, Failed convection fan motor, Faulty convection relay on control board, Broken wiring to convection circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing rear or internal panels.
- Check convection fan: Start a convection cycle and listen for the fan. If it does not run, test the fan motor for continuity and supply voltage. Replace if faulty.
- Test convection element: On some Stoves models, a ring element surrounds the convection fan. Access it from the rear or inside and test for continuity. Replace if open.
- Inspect wiring: Check wiring from the control board to the convection fan and element for damage.
- Control board: If components and wiring are good, the convection relay on the EOC may have failed; replace the control board.
