Oven display shows E13 and broil function does not work or shuts off quickly.

Safety: Turn off power and allow the broil element to cool completely before inspection.

• Inspect broil element: Look at the top of the oven cavity for the broil element. Check for visible breaks, blisters, or sagging.
• Access terminals: Remove the rear panel to access the broil element terminals. Inspect for burned or loose connections.
• Test element: With power off, disconnect one wire and measure resistance across the element. An open circuit indicates a failed broil element that must be replaced.
• Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the broil element to the control board for damage. Repair or replace as needed.
• Control board: If the element and wiring are intact but the broil circuit never energizes, the broil relay on the control board may be faulty and require replacement.
