Possible Causes

Torn or compressed door gasket, Gasket pulled out of retaining channel, Warped door frame, Build-up of debris preventing proper seal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Allow the oven to cool before touching the gasket.

  • Inspect gasket: Run your hand gently around the gasket to feel for tears, hard spots, or sections pulled away from the frame.
  • Clean gasket and frame: Use a damp cloth to remove grease and debris from the gasket and the mating surface on the door/frame.
  • Reseat gasket: If the gasket has come out of its channel, carefully press it back into place along the entire perimeter.
  • Replace gasket: If the gasket is torn, flattened, or hardened, replace it with the correct Sub-Zero door gasket for your model.
