Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan relay on control board, Shorted fan control triac, Faulty temperature sensor reporting high temperature, Control board logic failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Allow full cool-down: Confirm that the oven is completely cool. Some models keep the fan running for an extended period after use; wait at least 30–60 minutes.
- Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power. If the fan starts immediately with a cold oven, suspect a control issue.
- Test sensor: Check the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature. Replace if out of spec.
- Inspect control board: Access the main control board and look for signs of overheating or damage near the fan relay. If the relay contacts are welded closed, replace the control board.
