Possible Causes
Failed light socket, Broken light lens or housing, Open wiring to light assembly, Faulty light relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before working on the light assembly.
- Confirm correct bulb: Use only the bulb type and wattage specified by Sub-Zero. Incorrect bulbs can fail immediately or damage the socket.
- Inspect socket: Remove the bulb and examine the socket contacts for burning or corrosion. If damaged, replace the socket assembly.
- Check continuity: With power off, test continuity through the socket and wiring back to the control board.
- Control board: If the socket and wiring are good but the light never energizes, the light relay on the control board may be defective and the board should be replaced.
