Possible Causes
Failed convection fan motor, Obstructed or bent fan blade, Loose fan mounting nut, Worn motor bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the oven’s rear interior panel.
- Access fan: Remove the screws holding the interior rear cover inside the oven to expose the convection fan blade and motor shaft.
- Inspect blade: Check for bent blades, food debris, or loose mounting nuts. Tighten the fan nut and clean any obstructions.
- Spin test: Gently spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely without grinding. If stiff or noisy, the convection fan motor is likely failing.
- Replace motor: From the rear of the oven, remove the outer panel to access the motor mounting screws and wiring. Disconnect the motor, install the new one, and reattach the fan blade.
Do not operate the oven with the interior fan cover removed, as this affects airflow and safety.
