Possible Causes
Keypad input sequence error, Stuck or shorted keypad button, Software glitch in electronic oven control, Loose keypad ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This error often does not require disassembly. If you do open the control panel, disconnect power first.
- Clear error: Press Cancel or Off to clear the display. Re-enter the cooking mode and temperature following the user manual steps.
- Check keypad response: Press each button individually. If any key does not respond or triggers an error, the keypad may be failing.
- Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 1–2 minutes, then restore power and test again. This can clear minor software glitches.
- Inspect keypad ribbon (if persistent): With power off, remove the control panel and reseat the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and the electronic oven control. If the ribbon is damaged or corroded, replace the control panel/touchpad assembly.
If errors continue after these steps, the electronic oven control board may require replacement.
