Possible Causes

Defective touch glass panel, damaged touch flex cable, moisture ingress behind control panel, faulty user interface board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing the control panel.

Panel inspection:

  • Remove the front control panel assembly according to the service instructions for your Teka model.
  • Inspect the touch glass and underlying PCB for signs of moisture, grease, or corrosion. Carefully clean with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
  • Check the flat flex cable between the touch panel and the main control board for cracks, kinks, or poor insertion. Reseat the cable fully.
  • If certain keys never respond, the touch panel membrane or capacitive sensor area may be defective. Replace the complete touch control panel or user interface board as specified by Teka.
  • Ensure the panel is reinstalled without stress or twisting, which can affect touch sensitivity.

After repair: Restore power and test all keys and functions. If E11 persists, the main control board may have a communication fault with the interface.
