Possible Causes

Blown oven bulb, faulty lamp holder, burned lamp wiring, failed lamp relay or triac on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch off power and allow the oven to cool before changing the bulb.

Steps:

  • Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven cavity (usually twists off). Use a cloth to protect your hand.
  • Unscrew the existing bulb and visually inspect the filament. Replace with a high-temperature oven bulb of the correct wattage and base type specified by Teka.
  • Inspect the lamp holder for heat damage or corrosion. If brittle or burned, replace the lamp holder assembly.
  • If the new bulb does not light and E13 persists, remove the rear panel and check the wiring to the lamp holder for continuity and damage.
  • If wiring is intact, the lamp control component on the PCB (relay or triac) may have failed, requiring control board repair or replacement.

Tip: Always use an oven-rated bulb; standard household bulbs are not suitable for the high temperatures inside a Teka oven.
