Possible Causes

Failed display module, defective backlight driver on PCB, loose display connector, low-voltage power supply instability

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.

Checks:

  • Remove the control panel and inspect the display module and its connector to the control board.
  • Reseat the display connector and check for cracked solder joints on the display pins.
  • If the display is a separate module, test by substituting a known-good display if available.
  • Inspect the low-voltage power supply section on the control board (capacitors, regulators) for visible damage.
  • Replace the display module or entire control board if the display remains blank or unstable.

Note: Because display and control functions are often integrated, replacing the main PCB is the most common repair.
