Possible Causes
Tripped or failed safety thermostat, open heating element circuit, faulty main control board, incorrect timer or clock setting preventing heating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing panels or testing components.
Step-by-step checks:
- Verify that the clock is set and that no automatic end-time is programmed; many Teka ovens will not heat if the timer is not correctly set.
- Test each heating element (upper, lower, circular) for continuity with a multimeter. Replace any open elements.
- Check the safety thermostat (thermal cut-out) for continuity and reset or replace as needed (see E14).
- Inspect the wiring harness from the elements to the control board for burned connectors or broken wires.
- If all elements and thermostats are good, the main control board may not be supplying power to the elements and will likely need replacement.
