How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the control panel or knobs.
Steps:
- Pull off the function selector knob and remove the front panel to access the selector switch.
- Inspect the switch body for cracks or signs of overheating.
- Check that the shaft turns the internal cam; if the shaft is broken, replace the selector.
- Test continuity across the appropriate switch contacts for each function using the wiring diagram. Replace the selector if contacts do not close correctly.
- Reattach all wires according to the diagram and secure the switch firmly.
