Possible Causes

Failed display module, Loose or damaged ribbon cable between display and main control, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Faulty EOC communication circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the control panel.

  • Dry out moisture: If the error appeared after steam cleaning or heavy cooking, leave the oven powered off for several hours to allow the control area to dry.
  • Reseat cables: Remove the control panel and carefully reseat all ribbon cables and connectors between the display module and the main control board. Ensure they are fully inserted and not pinched.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on connector pins. Clean lightly with electronic contact cleaner and a soft brush, then reconnect.
  • Module swap: If available, replace the display/touch module first. If the problem persists, the main EOC may also need replacement.
