Possible Causes
Defective touchpad membrane, Debris or moisture under keypad, Shorted keypad ribbon cable, Failed keypad interface on EOC
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
- Key test: With power on, press each key individually. If the error appears when a specific key is pressed, that key is likely stuck or shorted.
- Clean keypad surface: Power off and gently clean the keypad with a mild detergent solution on a soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel. Dry thoroughly.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the flat ribbon cable for cracks or burn marks. Reseat it firmly into the control board connector.
- Replace touchpad: If F0 persists, replace the touchpad or entire control panel assembly, depending on design.
