Oven trips the circuit breaker when turned on or during heating.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker without finding the cause.

• Inspect elements: Look for visible damage where elements pass through the oven wall. A broken element can short to the chassis.
• Check wiring: Remove rear panel and inspect all wiring for cuts, burns, or pinched sections. Repair or replace damaged wires.
• Test elements: Disconnect each element and test for continuity to ground (oven chassis). Replace any element that shows a short to ground.
• Terminal block: Inspect for melted or shorted connections and replace if necessary.
