Oven beeps continuously and displays F1; oven may not heat or may shut off unexpectedly.

Safety First: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing any panels. High voltage is present even when the oven is off.

• Power reset: Turn the oven off at the breaker for 5–10 minutes, then restore power. If F1 returns immediately, the fault is likely persistent.
• Inspect control panel: Remove the front control panel trim (usually from inside the door frame or from the back). Locate the keypad ribbon cable going into the electronic oven control (EOC) board.
• Check ribbon connection: Gently unplug the ribbon, inspect for corrosion or burnt spots, clean with isopropyl alcohol and a lint‑free cloth, then reseat firmly.
• Test keypad: With power restored, see if buttons respond normally and if the F1 code reappears when pressing specific keys. A code that appears without pressing keys often indicates a shorted keypad.
• Replace faulty part: If the keypad is integrated with the front control panel, replace the entire control panel / touchpad assembly. If the keypad is separate and tests good, replace the electronic oven control (EOC) board.
• Final check: After replacement, restore power, clear any codes, and run a short bake cycle to confirm normal operation.
